NOISE TEST HELPERS NEEDED
The CRMC’s noise test team are in need of a couple of volunteers to assist at this year’s race meetings.
1. A noise test operator to measure the sound level of bikes.
2. An assistant to record the results of each noise test.
Training taking approx. 45 minutes will be given by CRMC in house and PPE in the form of ear defenders and official tabard are supplied.
Noise testing takes place within the restrictions laid set out by the planning authorities at each circuit.
Where possible noise testing can start on Friday afternoon, but it is not essential that all noise testers are available Friday afternoon.
Availability is essential on Saturday morning from around 8.30am until the end of practice at around 11.30am. After this time the noise test team hand over to the Chief Technical officer and stand down.
Noise testers receive the CRMC marshal’s allowance.
