The Classic Racing Motorcycle Club can confirm that a serious incident occurred shortly after the start of Race 8 at Donington Park on Saturday 1 August 2026.
The race was stopped immediately, and the rider received urgent treatment from the event medical team before being transferred to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham.
The rider remains in a critical condition.
The thoughts of everyone at the CRMC are with the rider, their family, friends and fellow competitors at this extremely difficult time.
