RIP Tony Freeman

We have been informed by Gary Freeman that his brother Tony Freeman passed away on 10th January 2023. He had been battling cancer for a while and died at home, where he was receiving palliative care with his wife Josie and daughter Sally by his side.

He started racing in the 1960's on a AJS 7R, carried on into the 1970's and gave up for a while when marriage and children come along. He started again in the early 1990's on a classic Norton Commando at places like Aintree, Anglesey, Darley Moor and then later with the CRMC on a WesLake and a Honda 350 K4.
Gary has confirmed the funeral arrangements will be on Wednesday, 31st January 2024 at 12:00 noon, St Lawrence Church, Sellman Street, Gnosall, Stafford ST20 0EX.
After the church service, the cremation will be 13:30 at Stafford Crematorium, Tixall Rd, Stafford ST18 0XZ, followed by a wake at Aston Marina, Lichfield Road, Stone ST15 8QU.
