We are so very sorry to hear that James O'Mara was killed in an accident on New Year's Day

RIP James O'Mara

James has raced at several CRMC meetings, in both the Supermono GB class and Superbike 750 classes. If you'd like to leave a comment or memory of James, please click on the Book of Condolences section at the bottom of this page.
We understand that James was fatally injured when hit by a car whilst in the road as a pedestrian, during the early hours of New Years Day.

James O'Mara was a very fast and experienced rider, also racing at the highest level in BMW F900 Cup at BSB meetings.

We'll publish any further information if we hear from the family.

Our thoughts and condolences to James' family and friends at this sad time.

Sad to learn of Jame's passing over the New Year period. I enjoyed the BMW F900 paddock at Donnington these last few years and got not only watch the class, but meet the teams in the paddock area. My sympathy to James's family, friends and fans. Psalm 23.
