How very sad. Brian was always very friendly from when I started scrutineering, then parading and then racing. He just made me feel at home and always greeted Jean and I with a smile. He always came round to the motorhome to make sure we were both okay. A lovely man. I am sure he will be missed by all who knew him. RIP Brian.

Brian and his lovely wife Jennifer are the wonderful kind of people that make club racing in the UK very special.
Super enthusiastic and warm - just the sort of people to settle a nervous novice on his first race, and right through my career I’ve looked out for them in the paddock.
Sleep well super starter x

It’s very sad to hear Bryan as left us,I was on the start line for 6 years and had many laughs from his story’s of places he had marshalled.
While I have been in the assembly he always come round to see me to say hello. He will be sadly missed.

I've just heard the sad news from Jennifer, his wife.

For many years Brian used to save me a spot next to their campervan and my bike went under the awning when it rained. Most times I would be on my own, so it was very reassuring to have a friend for help, advice and to be there, should I fall off.

Jennifer and Brian provided many many cups of tea and I brought the biscuits. So there was also much discussion about the events of the day.

Having hung up my leathers I miss the CRMC; but especially those times spent with Brian and Jennifer.

Rest in peace Brian

RIP our dearest Bryan, I know you have had many battles over all the years that we have known you and you have fought your way through them as you and Jennifer had so many more things you wanted to do. You have been a dear friend to myself and my late parents and I’m sure Mum is waiting for you with a pot of Marmalade to welcome you to the race circuit in the sky. My love and thoughts go to the family at this sad time. Your chequered flag is now waved Bryan. You may stand down now 😢🏁
