It's been a long time but we are glad to be back!

What's Happening at Donington Park Classic Festival 2021?

We've got so much to tell you and so much planned, we've had to break these articles down into separate News Flashes as each exciting element is confirmed!

Motorcycle Exotica

So for News Flash #3 we're looking at some of the bikes...

The Melbourne Loop is not being used for the racing at this year’s Festival, but instead will host the Grand Prix and Historic Bike display.  The display will resemble a paddock scene with bikes representing more than 60 years of racing history. Many of the bikes will take to the track on Saturday and Sunday afternoon to give Classic Racing fans a chance to revel in the sights and unsilenced sounds from the past. Featuring for the first time in this year’s display will be a Kenny Roberts Proton V5 four stroke machine from the early days of the Moto GP era.

From the Golden age of Grand Prix when Italian machines dominated the 500ccWorld Championship are a pair of beautiful fire engine red MV Augusta’s, one a three cylinder and the other a four cylinder example. Note the MV’s will be on display in pit garage #16.

Fox MV3

Celebrating Moto Guzzi’s 100th anniversary will be a selection of road and race bikes from the Italian marque, including the 1962 Argentinian GP winning machine.

Racing starts at around noon on Saturday and at the earlier time of 9.15am Sunday with a packed programme of over forty races scheduled for the weekend.
