It's been a long time but we are glad to be back!

What's Happening at Donington Park Classic Festival 2021?

We've got so much to tell you and so much planned, we're going to have to break it down into separate News Flashes as each exciting element is confirmed!

So let's start with a bit of history - The Donington Park Classic Bike Festival continues to build on the circuits 90th Anniversary of the first ever race meeting back in 1931. To mark the occasion the actual bike that won the first race 90 years ago will be back at Donington and on display all weekend in the Garage 39 café. The bike is a 350cc Raleigh, built locally in Nottingham and ridden by Speedway Ace Squib Burton who used all his sliding sideways skills, around what was then a gravel circuit, to take the victory.

The Norton Owners Club are putting on a special display of racing bikes associated with the late great Peter Williams and have commissioned a special trophy to be presented to the winner of Sunday’s Classic 500 race by the Norton Owners Club Chairman Peter White and the club Vice Presidents.

We've got several special guests lined up and at the time of writing, we are pleased to confirm Alex George will be joining us. A four-time winner on the tough TT circuit (three TT wins and a MGP win), he most memorably beat the favourite Mike Hailwood in 1979, who had made his famous comeback win the previous year.
