The CRMC regrets to announce that the Classic Sidecar races at the Classic Motorcycle Festival at Donington Park on 2/3 August 2025 have been cancelled.
This difficult decision has been made due to an insufficient number of sidecar entries received by the closing stages of planning. At the same time, many solo classes have attracted significant levels of reserve entries, placing increased pressure on available track time and scheduling.
We understand that this news will be disappointing to sidecar teams, fans, and supporters. Please be assured that the CRMC remains fully committed to supporting and promoting classic sidecar racing. It continues to be an important and valued part of our events.
This situation highlights the importance of entering early to help organisers accurately gauge interest and allocate resources accordingly. Entries for Darley Moor (6-7 September) are now open, and we strongly encourage all competitors to enter as early as possible to help avoid similar outcomes and ensure all classes are properly represented.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We look forward to seeing you at Donington Park and at the remaining CRMC meetings throughout the season.
