The Annual General Meeting of the CRMC was held at the Mercure Daventry Court Hotel on Saturday, 1 December 2018 and was followed in the evening by the prize presentations and dinner dance, attended by Guest of Honour Maria Costello MBE.
Here are some photos and highlights of the event...

We'll update this post with more information from the AGM in the next few days, but for now here are a few items that were discussed in the meeting and immediately afterwards:
Chairman Mark George welcomed the delegates and spoke briefly about the challenges facing the CRMC, discussing the need to debate what direction and goals the members want for the CRMC after a tough financial year
Treasurer Tony Finch reported on the finances, which remain strong but reserves have dropped from the previous year
Mark George explained the benefits of the 'Eric Parr CRMC Personal Accident Policy', how it helps CRMC injured members and the meeting discussed how it might be financed in future
Ian Johnson introduced an idea to develop Sidecar Period 4 for 2-stroke outfits
John Davidson introduced the 2019 Race Calendar with more details about the events at each circuit
There were 3 people ending their 3-year term on the committee - John Davidson, Simon Walsh and Ann Mallett. All 3 were happy to stand again
Chief Technical Officer Gordon Thorpe announced he is retiring from the committee
Mark George announced he will retire as Chairman, having been in the role for 5 years, serving 2 extra years over the usual 3-year term. He will remain on the committee for the remainder of his term
In addition to the 3 nominations above, Ron Hart, Emily Jackson and Gordon Russell were nominated to join the committee and as there were 6 vacancies and no other nominations, this completes 12 committee positions
At the post-AGM committee meeting, it was confirmed that Gordon would be the new CRMC Chairman, Ron will continue to look after Post Classic Eligibility and Emily Jackson will assume responsibility for social media PR and assist with sponsorship liaison
Here is a quick whip-through of some photographs taken by PJM Photography, the new CRMC Photographer
