FIM Europe at CRMC race events

Rider Eligibility 

Donington Park - UK riders must hold a Clubman grade or higher ACU Road Race licence. 
France, Germany, Sweden & Croatia - UK riders must hold an ACU National grade or higher licence, obtain start permission from the ACU and take out overseas insurance from the ACU or an Insurance brokers such as Four Counties Insurance. 
Start Permission: This is an ACU document that lets the foreign organiser know that you have the correct insurance cover and licence grade to enter the meeting. It is free with ACU insurance, but a small charge is made by the ACU if using non ACU Insurance. 
Overseas Insurance: This is available through the ACU or Four Counties Insurance. The ACU recommend you apply six weeks prior to the event, and make a £10 surcharge for applications with less than seven days notice.

Machine Eligibility 

A machine with a CRMC eligibility certificate will meet the machine requirements of FIM Europe. 
Note not all CRMC classes have an FIME equivalent, e.g there is no production class in FIME. 
Admin & Paperwork 
For all events an FIM Europe entry form must accompany the CRMC/French/Croatian/Swedish/German entry forms.

Solo Classes 
Class 2: Pre-1973 200cc Solo Motorcycles* 
Class 2b: Pre-1983 50cc Solo Motorcycles 
Class 3: Pre-1973 250cc Solo Motorcycles* 
Class 4: Pre-1973 350cc Solo Motorcycles* 
Class 5: Pre-1973 500cc Solo Motorcycles* Note: Only 4-stroke machines are permitted in this class. 
Class 6: Pre-1973 750cc Solo Motorcycles* 
Class 7a: Pre-1980 Solo Motorcycles over 350cc to 1000cc 
Class 7b: Pre-1982 Solo Motorcycles under 350cc 
Notes i. * Classes 2 – 6: Machines must have been available for sale in Europe or taken part in 
a race in Europe before Dec 1967 for two-strokes, and Dec 1972 for four-strokes. 
Sidecar Classes 
Class 8c: Pre-1983 Sidecar outfits, up to 1300cc 
Note: Sidecars at Croatia only.

Championship Points 

There will be two races counting for points at each of the rounds. 
A rider’s best eight scores will count for the Championship with points allocated on the Moto Gp scale.
