Welcome
to a different side to classic motorcycle
racing.
If you enjoy racing but don't race yourself
then why not join the Marshals.
Why spectate when you can participate...........
1. A warm welcome from "the Friendliest club in racing".
2. Full training in all aspects of marshalling.
3. Entry to all C.R.M.C. meetings, with a survival pack on every day of racing.
4. Automatic entry into the marshals raffle each day you attend.
5. A quarterly newsletter dedicated to the C.R.M.C. marshals within the pages of the clubs official magazine "The Open Megga".
6. Free membership of the CRMC for attending 10 race days in a season.
7. An opportunity to go out in any lunchtime 'spectator parades' (at selected circuits) free of charge.
8. A "hands on" view of racing.
Firstly
don't be put off by thinking you have to do
every meeting - not so!
You pick which dates and
venues you fancy attending. Even if you do
one meeting at your local circuit you'll get
the same warm welcome as those that are able
to attend them all (there are time when even
I can't go to every meeting).
Our regular band of marshals are a great bunch
of lads and lasses, as you'll soon find, with
a common interest in classic racing. We come
from all walks of life from truck driving
to hairdressing so, whatever your background,
you'll soon fit in.
Most training is carried out 'on the job'
although we do run a training day every year
or so - watch the 'Classic' press and, of
course, this website for next dates or email
us for more details. To suewhale@crmc.co.uk our Marshal Co-ordinator.
All marshals are supplied with a pack of non-perishable
snacks on each race day to supplement their
lunch and orange overalls can be purchased
at minimal cost.
We have our own newsletter "The Marshals
Post" carried within the pages of the
clubs magazine to keep everyone updated with
news and stories.
