The new forum has several new features including the ability to load personal Avatars and Photo's. You can also set up Poll's for voting on subjects and the new personal messaging (PM) service is a great tool to keep in contact with other club members.
A brief explanation on the new features can be found below with more detailed instructions available on the new forum.
AVATAR
No not the film but a personal picture used in your profile - most Avatars on the Forum are photo's of Riders with their Bikes. Please keep the file size low and a maximum size of 250px x 250px is displayed.

Each new topic posted can have a voting poll attached to it which in certain areas can be a good way in measuring members feelings about hot topics, I am sure as the forum grows and the season progresses this will be a valuable feature.

Contact Forum Administration Team
The CRMC forum is essentially an online
meeting place for racers and enthusiasts to share information and views,
and to buy and sell classic racing related items.
Our aim is that the friendly atmosphere found at club meetings is
reflected here, and that club members and non members alike can enjoy
the opportunity to have regular contact between meetings.
The Administration and Moderation team is made up of racers, club
officials and enthusiasts and we like to encourage a fairly relaxed and
informal mood. We would remind you however that, whilst we all share a
passion, we are not all alike. It is therefore asked that all content is
of an inoffensive nature.
It is also worth mentioning here that, although the
forum is allied to the club it is not directly connected to the
committee. Contentious subjects are welcome for discussion, but
definitive answers should be sought directly from the appropriate
committee member (contact details elsewhere on
the site).
